Video Horse Racing Overview

Take all of your guests to the horse races without even leaving the building! PCI Entertainment can bring the races to your location with our video horse race packages. We can supply great races direct from such famous locales as Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, Suffolk Downs, and others.  Your guests will go crazy cheering on their favorite horse to the finish line and winning fun money…prizes… raffle tickets…or whatever works for your particular event.

HOW IT WORKS

dsc_0104a3All of our races are supplied on pre-recorded VHS tape or DVD. These are races previously run any of several famous race tracks. While the races have been previously run, no one (including us) knows the results, as all the races are sealed. We also include matching programs for your guests showing all necessary information, fun money for them to bet with, and authentic betting windows to accept wagers and redeem winning tickets.

Guests choose their favorite horses in each race and make fun-money wagers at the betting windows before each race. Most standard race track wagers are accepted, including Win, Place, Show, Quinella, Exacta, and even Daily Doubles. At post-time, the betting windows are closed, the race is run and plays out on our large projection screen with high-quality sound, and the results are announced and posted. The betting windows are then re-opened to redeem winning tickets and to accept wagers on the next race. Winning wagers are paid off in fun money. At the end of the evening, fun money may be redeemed at our cashier booths for merchandise prizes, raffle tickets, or whatever you as the host choose to provide.

If you’re looking for a new fund-raising idea for your charity, Video Horse Racing can be the answer to the same old raffle or dinner dance idea. Betting is on a pari-mutuel system just like at a real race track, which means that your charity has no financial risk on the races. Video Horse Race events done as fund-raisers may be done legally for certain types of charities. Their format is necessarily somewhat different from an entertainment-only event. There are some legal restrictions on what we can and can’t provide for you for a fund-raising event…any of our experienced party planners will be happy for explain the differences for you.
